Fading Paradise, produced and concept by Bea Binene

Kapuso Bea Binene is starring in an advocacy film that speaks to the heart. "Fading Paradise, which talks about the environment and climate change, came from Bea's own concept.

"Fading Paradise" is directed by Aurel Ayson. Bea plays a student filmmaker who uses the name "Paradisogirl" on Instagram and Youtube, where she has a channel with lots of travel videos.

Bea and friends, all millennials, all Youtubers prepare for a special trip. The purpose of the trip is to visit a hidden island in Bicol where Bea and her bestfriend grew up in. Only few Bicolanos know of this secret island. The underwater world was unique, thriving and world-class. They also had a secret lagoon here when they were kids.

The memory of this magical island was real until they encounter an unexpected surprise - this majestic environmental wonder became a victim of unregulated corporate abuse and greed which will leave Bea and her friends an important realization.

The movie's stars include Bea's real-life friends; Krystal Reyes, Coleen Perez, Kenneth Paul Cruz, Mark Castillo and Angelo Serna, with special participation of Ms. Alma Moreno.

"Through this film, we hope to raise awareness on the state of our environment, particularly in relation to the country's virgin islands."
-- Bea Binene, 19yo
